OUR MISSION:
At Smokey Mountain Trucking Institute, our mission is to offer commercial driver education that exceeds our students expectations by providing innovative and premium quality instruction in our training program. The most important aspect of driver education is SAFETY. It is the goal of Smokey Mountain Trucking Institute to have graduates of our program with the safest possible driving records.
SMTI:
Smokey Mountain Trucking Institute is authorized for operation as a post secondary educational institution by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.
This authorization must be renewed each year and is based on an evaluation by minimum standards concerning quality of education, ethical business practices, health and safety, and financial responsibility.
